How We Got Here: The Journey of Nismaaya Decor Founders

Every great story begins with a dream, and ours is no different. Nismaaya Decor was born from a vision to transform the way people shop for furniture online and inspire them to “Dream Big, Decor Bigger!”

In the vibrant city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, two childhood friends set out on an extraordinary journey to carve a niche in India’s furniture and décor industry. Chirag Jain and Tej Singh, driven by shared ambition and strong determination, aimed to create a brand that offers not just products, but meaningful experiences.

Chirag has always had a strong business mindset, inspired by his family’s entrepreneurial background. From a young age, he showed natural business instincts. After completing his schooling in Udaipur, he pursued a Master’s degree in International Business from the Institute for Technology & Management, Mumbai. This helped him understand the global market and evolving customer needs. After returning to Udaipur, he began supporting his family business, but his desire to create something new remained strong. Over a cup of coffee with his friend Tej Singh, the idea of Nismaaya Decor was born.

Tej Singh also displayed strong business sense early in life and studied business management in Udaipur. With over 10 years of experience in the décor industry, his keen attention to detail, production expertise, and operational skills played a vital role in shaping the brand. Together, the team worked tirelessly to build Nismaaya Decor into what it is today; a recognized name across India, Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
